Percentage Difference is a percentage formula that can be used to compare the percentages of two different terms. The percentage difference formula can be expressed as the difference between the values divided by the average of the values and multiplied by a hundred. The formula is

We will simply put the values in the formula, {(100 – 50) / ([100 + 50] / 2) x 100

= (50 / 75) X 100 = 66.66%

In simpler words, this shows that the cost of the product ABC is 66.66% more than that of last year.
